OBTAIN PERMANENT RESIDENCY THE FASTEST WAY POSSIBLE

EB-1A Extraordinary Ability

This prestigious pathway towards permanent residency is designed for individuals who have demonstrated remarkable achievements and recognition in their respective fields, whether it's science, arts, education, business, or athletics. Let's explore the key features and benefits of the EB-1A extraordinary ability path.

Expedited Green Card Processing: The EB-1A category is often associated with quicker green card timelines compared to other green card options. Compared to EB-2 or EB-3, which often entails significant green backlogs for applicants born in India or China due to the State Department's monthly Visa Bulletin, the EB-1 category often allows applicants to move on to the Adjustment of Status (I-485) stage of the green card process with faster timelines. This means you could be on your way to permanent residency sooner.

No Labor Certification Required: Unlike some of the other employment-based green card categories, the EB-1A does not require a labor certification (PERM). This streamlines the application process and eliminates the need for a potential employer to go through the time-consuming labor certification process, which can take anywhere from 1.5 to 2 years.

Ability to Self-Sponsor: While PERM-based EB-2 and EB-3 cases require employer sponsorship, the EB-1A category does not require an offer of employment or sponsorship. Hence, an applicant may self-sponsor and apply for an EB-1A without the need for an employer, or even an attorney signature on the application.
